Anissia Hedrick

Gregory-Portland ISD is about 10 miles north of Corpus Christi. I have lived in this area my entire life. My school district career started in 2005. Moving from PEIMS Clerk to the Human Resources department and finally to department secretary for the Curriculum & Instruction office and assistant to the Executive Director. My work life has evolved from working in many different positions to wearing many hats in one position! Textbook management duties came with the C&I job. There were processes in place, and I was fortunate to have the support from the textbook person before me. IMCAT was an invaluable resource from the beginning as well. All the information from conferences, newsletters, and mentors helped to give me confidence in this role.
Sharon Jason

I am the Instructional Materials Coordinator at Goose Creek CISD in Baytown, Texas. I have completed 21 years in Education and this is my 5th year in Instructional Materials. I enjoy working alongside our other seasoned IMCAT Board members to develop ideas and solutions and to share our knowledge of Instructional Materials practices with other districts. I love to help new coordinators in developing IM procedures specific to their district needs, as well as mentoring others new to their position. On my personal time, I love visiting new cities and spending time with my family and look forward to my summer travels!
